First of all the definition : Peering means in the Internet-environment that two network operating companies interface their data network and moreover exchange the consequent data traffic between both networks. In order to maintain the number of lines inside a region as small as possible, points of Peering are ideal solutions, and obtain a high speed connection for as many networks as possible. Most are therefore a mess. Peering-Agreements state which of the peering connections mutual use rules. The N-IX constitutes as exchange point the technical platform for the peering, although it is not mentioned explicitly in the Peering-Agreements. If desired we can also assist by the elaboration of SLAs between network operators.
